Amulet Bag
This amulet bag was knitted with DMC #8 and 11° seed beads (B;ue tyransparent with
Fushia Luster). The bag was knit in one piece, including the flap. The
neckpiece is made up of beads strung on #14 Soft Flex wire and then fringed with the same
seed beads and 4mm Swarovski crstal beads. The side fringing is made up of twisted
bugle beads, 11° seed beads (same color usedin the neckpiece and body of the bag) and
vintage Swarovski crystal beads. The center "clasp" is a glass ring which
I crocheted around and then strung a vintage 12mm Swarovski crystal bead in the center.
Kit - $32.00 - colors as seen - includes Beadwork magazine (where I found the
pattern), seed beads, crystal beads, Soft Flex wire, glass ring, knitting needles, Nemo
thread, and a #12 English beading needles for fringing.
