Blue and Silver Necklace

When I found these Chevron style striped seed beads, I went to work and the piece just kept getting better and better. In the loomed part, I used the striped seed beads, along with Blue Transparent lined with Cobalt Iridescent, Clear and Clear lined with White. I fringed one side and the bottom with a loop fringe using the same seed beads and clear bugle beads. The neckpiece is attached to the body with blue glass donuts. Hanging from the right donut is a blue vintage German glass circle. Hanging from the left donut is some looped fringe (as on the side and bottom but longer and with some crystal beads). Hanging from the same donut is a tiered fringe, which includes Sterling Silver Heishi-style beads, and a multi-color AB Pyrex flower. This fringe ends with another vintage German glass circle. The neckpiece, one strand of beads with numerous fringes hanging, is made up of many kinds and shapes of beads, drops and pendants, including Sterling Silver, Clear Topaz, vintage clear flat glass, and various Czech glass. The Pyrex flower, with its range of color, is a striking focal point.
