Beatles, Bees and Bugs Necklace 

The idea for this necklace came about after I purchased 4 of Barbara Simon’s Ant Beads and a handful of Cheryl McIntosh’s little bugs. I made 9 large beaded beads and strung them with the Ant Beads. The clasp consists of 2 beaded leaves. I then embellished the entire necklace with Cheryl’s bugs; brass and ceramic beetles, bees and bugs and pearls, seed beads and brass beads. This necklace was juried into Millennium Designers Contest, 2000. It is pictured in "The Art and Elegance of Beadweaving" by Carol Wells.
